How it works
-
Host
Set the arena.
One friend hosts. Drag the map to place the zone, from a few blocks to 3 km across. Set the round length, ping timer and head start, then share the game code.
-
Join
Six characters. Pick a side.
Friends join with the code. Everyone picks Hunter, Runner or Random. Random fills whichever team is short, and the game won’t start with lopsided teams.
-
Scatter
Run.
Runners use the head start to get away and hide inside the zone. Hunters wait it out. No peeking.
-
Hunt
You’re it.
Every few minutes a ping shows hunters where each runner was. Close in on foot and tag in person. The runner confirms it and they’re out, but can keep watching.
SCRAM
Hide-and-seek for the whole neighbourhood.
Bring snacks. Wear sneakers.
iPhone and Android · At least 3 playersWaiting out the head start.
No peeking.
Pick a side.
Hunter, Runner or Random. Random fills whichever team is short. Tap it to see where you’d land.
Hunters can’t see runners live. Every few minutes a ping shows where they are, and you have to close in on foot before the trail goes cold.
Win: tag every runner before time runs out.Take the head start, scatter and hide inside the zone. Keep moving between pings. If you’re tagged you’re out, but you can keep watching.
Win: anyone still free when time runs out.The phone referees.
Everyone plays on foot. The app keeps the clock, sends the pings and calls the winner.
Pings, not live tracking.
Hunters only get snapshots, so they have to predict where runners went instead of following a dot.
Optional shrinking zone.
The host can have the zone close in on a schedule, with a 1-minute warning before each shrink. Stay outside for more than 30 seconds and hunters see you live until you’re back in.
Team Radio.
Built-in chat for your team. Make a plan, split up, argue about snacks.
Your team, live.
You always see your own teammates on the map. Hunters see runners only in pings. Runners never see hunters.
Works in your pocket.
Pings, zone warnings and tags arrive as alerts, even with your phone locked. On Android they only buzz. On iPhone, flip to silent so a ring doesn’t give away your hiding spot.
The host sets the rules.
Rounds from 10 minutes to 3 hours. Pings every 1–30 minutes. Up to 15 minutes’ head start. A zone from a few blocks to 3 km across.
iPhone and Android.
At least 3 players. The more, the better.
No peeking at your friends’ phones.
People ask, so here it is.
- Your location is shared only while a round is running.
Sharing starts at “Let’s go” and stops the moment the round ends, or when you’re tagged.
- The other team never sees you live.
Hunters see runners only in pings, and runners never see hunters. The one exception: a runner who stays outside the zone for more than 30 seconds shows up live until they’re back in.
- Your email is just your way back in.
It’s only for getting into your account on a new phone. Other players never see it.
